Professor Smits and fifteen students went to Paris this January to study 19th century art as part of the Faculty Led Programs (FLPs). Smits reports they experienced the magic of snow! And had a fabulous time visiting the Rodin Museum, Napoleon's country house, the Opera Garnier, and the Van Gogh Special Exhibition.

Congratulations to MA students Matthew Skurdahl and Vickie Simms for presenting their work at the VCS Spring Symposium at California College of the Arts. Matthew presented research on the Historical Mural at Chicano Park and Vickie Simms shared a new analysis of Willie Cole's found objects.
