Professor Smits and fifteen students went to Paris this January to study 19th century art as part of the Faculty Led Programs (FLPs). Smits reports they experienced the magic of snow! And had a fabulous time visiting the Rodin Museum, Napoleon's country house, the Opera Garnier, and the Van Gogh Special Exhibition.  

Congratulations to Professor Carroll, who presented "An Insider's View of Venice" at the Century Club in San Francisco! The Century Club is a women’s club founded in 1888 in San Francisco, and still exists in its original building at 1355 Franklin Street, designed by member Julia Morgan.
